Default 95 Turn Signal Problems

Wierd problem. When I put on my lights, my right turn signal stays stuck on. I have city lights wired into the parking lights, my left side parking light and corner parking light turn on, but the left does not.

Also, when the lights are off when I put on the right blinker, my entire cluster blinks. Ie. When the right signal is on, the lights dim, when it's off, they go back to being regular.

I had a 15A fuse in there since I was told you need that when you wire the city lights in. Right now I put the 10A back in and the problem is occuring. I don't wanna try the 15A again b/c I don't want to chance burning anything out.

All the bulbs look good, and connections look to be good. All this started happening after we had a snow storm and my connections got wet

Now nothing is turning on with the parking lights, and teh fuse isn't blowing. I'm thinking about the dimmer light switch, but I don't know if that failing would cause these symptoms

I think I found the problem, it seems that the constant wire fried away from the harness. The right side does blink now, and the cluster problem went away.

Would this cause an incomplete circuit that wouldn't allow the rest of the lights to work like the cluster, tail lights, etc?

Yes, it sounds like the wiring you did for the City Lights might have had a problem. Get out the multimeter and check check check ....

I took off the city lights, and the problem is still happening.

When I put the combination switch onto parking lights, nothing works. But, the headlights work fine. I made sure the connections were good and that they were shrink wrapped, as well.

The blinker still works, too. And the fuse isn't blowing. I don't get this.

Maybe the turn signal connection is worn out in the stock on the column and its shorting out?

I don't think that could be it, because the blinker works. It just doesn't turn on as a parking light.

Not trying to toot my horn, but I am Electrical Enginneer, defintley sound like a bad connection, most likely a groundin issue. When the cluster dims, it is a dead giveaway. Mabe snow or rain is geeting on the ground causind electricity to flow another path, or if a bad supply, it can all be drawn from inconspicuous supply voltage. Cean off all termails and connections, rust paint, debris of any kind will cause this.

Toot your horn all you want man, I need help lol.

But the cluster hasn't dimmed anymore since they completely stopped working. I checked all the grounds I could see, including the "pack" of them that is in front of the passenger headlight.

When I put the switch onto the parking lights, nothing happens. The fuse doesn't blow either. I'm running in circles
