So guys this is how it started...Ive been member for a while but now i decided to create this build and maybe a spot on EK Squad? lol!!! I got my car back in Feb. 09... Its a JDM EK3 Vti with some goodies as 99-00 tails, and for those who r wondering what happened to the RHD?? Well it has a conv. to LHD do to the laws, lol... i bought the car from a friend and it came looking like this



First mods, actually where my moms desition to buy c-pillar bar and top engine bar... She loves everythin that has to do with bars, so i bought gold c-pillar and some cheap as RE front bar..

The car also came with lame 30K HID in some kind of purple or pink, w/e so after a month of rocking big a$$ stereo system and 17" and weird HID's i decided to get some 15" and 3K yellow HID's so it looked like this



I always hated the fact i had Replicas i was looking for the opportunity of real wheels till a friend of mine decided to sell his 15" 4 Lug Grey Rega's, so Right away i sold mine and rocked the DA Steelies till i got the money for the Evo's... U can also see i dont have the Replica Type R Grill anymore, thats some EK9 Hater feeling i got, ill explain later on...While i was trading wheels i also got a nice deal on a CF Spoon Style Wing that u can see in one of the pic...




I went junkyard searching (Melvin Knowwsss we get some nice stuff over here) i saw some seats and i asked for some Bride or Recaro's and the guy told me he had one still in the trailer so we hopped in and i got this Recaro Speed in Mint condition so we took it and a friend of mine gave me a Cross bar he had laying around so WTF? lol





same week i got some Takata green Style 4pt seat belt that i actually sold right away(u can see in pcs above), and i also got the LCA and rear bar Megan Racing(that will be changed later on the path)


A day i guy offered some money for my Recaro and it was i nice offer so i sold it and rolled with no mods for a time... i also respraid my front end and changed headlights for some weird black housing that also will be changed later on for some SiR ones, and i got a spoon EG lip for my car and Slammed the hell out of it, also got the Spoon CF mirrors and visors... (if u didnt notice b4... yes its a sun roof in a jdm EK!! W00t!!

After a while i got some dc2 Black Recaros that will be changed also in the future since i dont want anythin Type R on my car, but while money shows up to my place this set will be there...

ok guys so continuing with my build... i got my hands on a c-west front bumper for the EK, and i went out looking for a H series... and i found this...

So its starts with a trip on a saturday to a city named Santiago about 170km from capital city, so i could get this bumper...

Then on monday we found the H22a out of a CD5 SiR

And i also took out the d15b





It has been 2 weeks that i took the old engine out and still waiting for the engine mounts to arrive, so last week i went looking for the missing parts, such as shifter, pedals, clutch pump, and cable linkage and i started working on it to make it look clean...(Work hasnt been done yet, so this is just a preview...) Parts gotten are from Accord 92-97, pedals from a MT EK3... so its kind of a bold on...PICS>>>

one of the reasons the bumper was changed was because here in DR the cwest bumper is less common than the JDM SIR 96-98 bumper! which comes standart in every 96-98 hatch with its moldings!

Thank u guys for the kind words! I really Dig the new bumper, i bet when its color matched its gonna look way better, and a bit lowered... the car is on a small brake for the holidays, since we all know the money u spend on these days... project will me restarted with fresh breath in 2010!

its not gonna be mounted like that, im gonna paint it flat black for less obvious look! I just would like to see how it looks, if i dont like it ill get another OEM bumper! Pretty Cheap over here!
