Christmas gift for the R??
So I'm looking to buy a christmas present for my R and I'm having a hard time deciding.
1. PIC coilovers (I love the ride quality/handling of my stock suspension but would love for it to sit just a tad lower, maybe 1.5) $950
2. OEM optional sides/rears (found a set in good shape with fresh paint) $850
3. 8lb pulley/retune for my JRSC (should give 20-25 more hp) $450
Whay do you guys think? I can only do one option. Also, here's a pic of how she sits now.

I'd do Koni Yellows and GC sleeves before I'd do PIC coilovers. Or, you could do Koni Yellows by themselves and sit them on the lowest perch. That will lower the car almost a half inch, IIRC.
I don't know if I would consider it a Christmas gift, but my 'winter retune' consists of replacing my ITR IM/TB with a 68mm TB portmatched to a cut/ported ITR IM, replace my RC440cc injectors with RDX 410cc units, new catch can/PCV system, and a retune on eCtune. I have a few more hours of work on the valvecover to get the gears mooncut and get some AN fittings welded in for the catch can lines, then I'll be ready to start buildin the eCtune basemap and head to the dyno hopefully in early February.

Why is everyone so keen on the OEM bodykit? I remember when they came out that they looked "tacked on" and never thought they were very attractive. Several of us thought the same.
Personally, I think Acura didn't get the optional body kit correct until the RSX (A-Spec kit). On the Integra it loks like something you'd buy at the local tuner shop, not something from the factory.
Once you slightly lower the car, the kit isn't needed or attractive IMO. I think at this point folks like it because not too many sold.

Not everyone thinks or has similar taste as you will notice especially in a community of car enthusiasts. But I think the OEM kit adds a tasty yet subtle touch of goodness to the aesthetics of the car.
A body shop quoted me $3200.
I'm estimating. They're actually $700 plus whatever shipping costs but they're already painted. I think it's ridiculous for what they are to be honest but unfortunately demand determines cost. Plus, there really aren't many other options. I don't want Fiberglass so that limits the field.
Wow that's good stuff, sounds like you knew the guy cause I don't think I could trust soemone I didn't know with my R to repaint it on the side.
