I am listing this Civic for a friend of mine. The car is a horizon grey metallic 1995 Honda Civic EX coupe that has an OBD1 GSR (1995) engine mated to a 5 speed LS transmission (2000). The car is rust free, although it does have a few dents and dings from being around almost 15 years. I will put the car on a lift for you so you can see it...IT WAS NOT A NY CAR! It has a few extras like GSR/SE 5 spoke wheels (sometimes known as hammers) with 4 195/55-15 Dunlop Direzza tires (about 75% tread left). They are currently off the car for winter and a set of '92 - '93 Integra LS wheels are on it with wintermark snow tires. The car also has a new oem replacement clutch, lightweight Fidanza flywheel, new head gasket, ARP head studs, and a Greddy timing belt. All of these modifications were done to improve reliability, except for the flywheel which was replaced with an aftermarket one because it was cheaper than buying a stock one and it was easy to replace when we had the clutch out. The exhaust consists of a Brospeed header hooked to a T1R test pipe and Buddy Club catback exhaust. It is fairly loud, but not bad sounding by any means. I have the stock exhaust if interested. Everything is done to accept a rear disk conversion except for the actual rear disk swap itself (which I can include). The brake booster and master cylinder are from an integra GSR, and a 40/40 prop valve is installed. It already has the larger front brakes as it is an ex model. The interior has been swapped to all black (not painted) and a non airbag dash has also been installed (no srs light will show either). The front seats are black buckets from an Integra RS, and are about as nice as you could find without buying new. It does have oem Honda floor mats in like new condition and the interior really is almost flawless when cleaned up. The car also has a Sony cd/mp3 player and front/rear Sony speakers.
My friend and I built this car as payment to him for helping me at my garage parting out Hondas and Acuras over the past two years or so. He wants an AWD Subaru that is more practical for him at this time, as his girlfriend travels to college/work and he wants her safe. Not that this car is not safe, but an AWD would definitely be much better in bad weather situations. With all of that being said...we can lower the price if you don’t want certain things (like wheels, seats, CD player,GSR engine etc.) As it sits with everything I listed he would like to start at $3495. Other than minor dents and dings this car is very clean. After minor body work and paint you would have a VERY clean coupe with a nicely done engine setup. This car was done by the best, and no corners were cut building it (other than not fixing the dents, and painting it). There are cars with similar things done for cheaper I am sure, but if you want one that won’t fall apart in a week this is the one. Call 607-329-0544 (Clay) or 607-229-4703 (Zack) with any questions or offers.

Nice car...Price is negotiable especially with a different engine! We drove this thing around last night...the B18C1 runs flawlessly, and the ls transmission works perfect!

Man...I guess the Honda game has gotten real messed up...well hell pretty much everything has lately. I understand you just can't take a man's word for anything these days, and it's definitely too bad. Below is the story on the build from scratch. If you need me to take off the valve cover to prove it has head studs and a greddy timing belt I will definitely do that without a problem. As for the story...here goes.
I bought the longblock from a local kid who said it had a bad head gasket. It was legitimately taken out of the 1995 Integra GSR it originally came in, because the GSR owner wanted a B20B. Basically he said he would rather have a good B20B than a B18C1 with a bad head gasket. So I purchased the longblock off of him, and took the head off only to find that it had a perfectly good head gasket. I, of course put a new head gasket on it anyway, because it would have been stupid to do otherwise. While I was there I changed the timing belt, and the water pump gasket as the pump itself was fine. I then put it together with the head studs, and got it ready to install in this car. The transmission is one I originally took out of a 2000 Integra GS. I purchased the car wrecked at a salvage auction in Central York, Pa legitimately. Before everything was put together I added the aluminum flywheel and I believe an exedy oem replacement clutch, but I don't want to quote that as I have put together a ton of cars over the last 5 years, and it is tough to remember everything. I know that the clutch is absolutely fine though.
As for building the car in my garage...My parents own an automotive repair facility in Athens, Pa called Ram Tire and Auto. We have 3 bays and 4 lifts, and we are a small family owned business. I part out Hondas and Acuras part time, and build a few here and there. I teach earth and general science at a local high school, and the honda/acura thing is mainly a hobby. If you could ask anyone around here who to take any 90's honda/acura to in order to fix a problem, 90% of the people would say me...the other 10% just wouldn't know. I do things right and stress making the car mechanically correct before worrying about making the exterior look perfect or adding a header or cat back exhaust so I can sound "cool." This particular car was built as payment to a friend who helped me part out and fix quite a few hondas/acuras over the past two years or so. He didn't want money, just a nice, quick car to drive around. I believe we finished it last summer, so the whole build is only about 6 months old. At that time we replaced anything that needed it. The car was switched to manual steering the correct way by adding a manual steering k frame and rack out of a non power steering civic. Like I also stated in the ad, we removed the dual airbag system and replaced it with a single air bag unit (no bag in the dash). It is all unhooked because he doesn't care for airbags, and it does remove quite a bit of weight. The car also has the AC removed properly with the lines, compressor, condenser dryer, etc. all removed and a non AC vent was added under the dash so that the heat still works properly. As of right now the only thing the car needs is to fix the horn. I know what is wrong and how to fix it, but I haven't had the time around the holidays. I could go on and on about the things that were done, but it would seriously take up twice the amount of space I already have. The body does need some attention, but it is in no way in horrible condition. It needs some body work and paint and as long as the person doing it was capable, it would be a very nice car in all aspects. It seems that too many people buy these types of cars because they have a fast engine in them or whatever. They don't even notice the fact that the suspension is about ready to fall off, or that every piece in the interior is ripped, busted, etc. This car has all of the hard work already done IMO. It is easy to take the car to a body shop and make it look nice. The things we did to make it reliable and quick was the hard part. I am sorry this reply is so long, but I wanted to tell you as much as I could so you understand the kind of people and the amount of time it took to build this car. Thanks!

No time to get more pics today...I was trying to figure out why my girlfriends subaru is not handling correctly...found out that the person that had it before me wrecked it and had it fixed very poorly. The damn k frame is bent, meaning tons of fun for me over the nexxt couple of days. To anyone who reads this: If you cant fix a car the correct way, don't fix it at all!

Up...Lookingfor $2,800 firm...Even though it's an LS, the swap is worth more than half of that price. I am pretty sure I could get a GSR trans for it too for a couple of hunded extra.
