S2000 Differential options?
I've been looking into upgrading my differential but I can't find anything else but the InlinePro diff kit. I found very limited information about the after market differentials such as Kaaz, Cusco and Quaife. I'm Going to be making around 450-550 this up coming summer and more the fallowing; The stock differential has 72,000 miles on it and I don't wanna worry about it braking on me. What would be a good option to go with? I'm looking for something under $1200.

from what i have been able to gather, the stock case/bearing caps are the weak links in the stock diff.
the bearing caps flex, the ring gear and pinion separate enough to break the gear. put a stronger gear in it, then you'll break the caps. The actual LSD dosnt break.
supposedly the puddy diff's hold up well.. idk about the stock axles though.
for the price of a fully done up puddy diff you can get an inline pro kit, but the r200 diff still needs an aftermarket LSD to work well. the stock viscous coupling sucks ***.

I broke the ring and pinion, stub shafts, but never the actual differential.
the viscous coupling in my 240 lasted about a month before it would only work when the diff was cold.. once it got warm it was one tire fire all over the place
I beat the ever living **** out of mine (all 3 of them), at the track, hot lapping, and never had that problem......weird?? What fluid did you use in it?? Did you add a friction modifier additive??

if you have serious power then use the r34 skyline rear end. but thats only if you runnin some major power. ur stock rear end is fine, unless u launch/burnout/ or drift alot. just get a 4.77 final gear ratio. shorten the gears to go faster.
