I have a few questions regarding my current set up. I just got this car off a buddy who built it this past summer has about 15k on the build. But the 3 inch exhaust is extremely loud and annoying to DD around. I was wondering if 2.5 dp and exhaust would make that much of a difference on this set up to not bother with it id like a fast street car not a race car. Looking to upgrade the mani and turbo soon as well, i was thinking of a mini ram and a better 57 or even larger. Boost noob and just looking for some answers thanks!

Put a hiflo cat, resonator and big muffler on it... Keep the 3" though.

 

Ahhh, ya its a straight pipe as of now jesus its loud

 

I would do what Nonov suggested, keep the 3" and like a dynomax turbo muffler, it will b quiet but not kill the power. I've always had good tone and sound with dynomax.

I rock straight 3' pipe on my boosted LS. Not that loud unless I'm raping it...

 

This is for some reason, especially cruising on the e-way

 

keep everything except the magnaflow muffler, change that to a vibrant stelth series and you'll be good to go
