ok so im having a problem with my tranny i put a final drive and an lsd on it, and also added a clutch and flywheel but now my gears won't go in when i step on the break its so weird i don't know what it is we installed this and this is happening anyone have a slight idea what it could be because my gears go in fine without the break but when i press on the break they won't go into gear can someone please help

 

I am assuming you mean clutch pedal but did you check the linkage by chance and make sure it was lined up correctly...

 

Have you ever installed anything like this before? Taking apart a transmission isn't usually a crack it open and see what's going on in here type of thing.

 

nope i haven't but this mechanic i think **cked everything up so im having a transmission specialist look at it but people are telling me its the shift linkage im taking a look at it the transmission specialist said who ever installed my transmission messed up connections damn mechanic

 

Most likely not the linkage. Pretty hard to mess up cable linkage. Now, when you say step on the brake, that's what you are stepping on right? Or are you talking about when the clutch pedal is being stepped on? Do the gears shift ok when the car is off?
