Update on broken motor mount....
Well I finally took my car back to the dealership this morning to get the motor mount replaced. It has been a week since they ordered the part so I figured that I would not drive my car so much or at all for that matter till I had the part replaced.
I would rather be safe the sorry.
But not to worry I had my brothers type R to keep me company. Its a nice car if I do say so.
Well the motor mount will be covered under warrenty so that is a plus. Also I have decided to get my oil changed to redline synthetic and the dealership will being doing that as well. It is going to cost me 55.oo for the oil change which is not bad figuring I spend 5o.oo for mobil 1 oil.
So finally my car will be ready to go by the end of the day which is major plus.
I have missed driving my car, but the type R helped me out through the "lonely" days. hahaa. Well Good Luck guys..

Yeah I pay 50.oo for an oil change. It is the tri synthetic oil by Mobil 1. I don't mind paying that much for the oil, it has been really good. And the car runs great. But now I am trying Redline oil to see what the difference is.
you guys pay $50.00 for an oil change? Mobil 1 Trisyn is only about $22.00/case (Costco is even less for the case - 6 bottles, more than enough for a full change) and a filter is about $7.00. $21.00 - That's an awful lot to pay for 10 minutes of labor...

it costed me around $45 for mobil 1 oil change as well...this was even through my dad's friend. A regular oil change for me would be like $20.
i just changed my car, my dad's car, my friend's eclips gs-t, and my friend's civic to mobil 1 synthetic..
bough 4 5qt bottles at $16.99 each with came out to be $72.04 with tax
i used the mobil 1 filter at $11
other 3 cars used fram at $3
total cost per car came out to be like $20
if you don't mind paying that much i guess its ok..
but i would never let a shop change my oil again.. even jiffy lube
last time.. they didn't close the engine cap..
my friend's car.. the nut wasn't tight and flew off.. draining all the oil..
my dad's car.. didn't change the oil filter cuz they couldn't get it off..
i'll rather do it RIGHT myself.. and save $30 bucks..
