hey, i have a 90 civic hatch, dx i'm pretty sure, and after getting it knowing that theres some problems i discovered im missing a few connectors totally from my engine harness. now it has a d16z6 swap into it with a obd1 ecu, so if i got a d16z6 engine harness could i just plug and go into my engine and all or will i have to get a d15 harness and wire them together for the mpfi to dpfi thing? thanks for your help before hand and if theres anymore questions ill be glad to answer them to the best of my ability.

 

no, first of all are you already converted to mpfi (4 injectors)? if so contact ryan@rywire.com and he can set you up with a harness to eliminate your current harness and replace it with one his obd1 converted harnesses

 

it would also help if we knew which connectors you claim to be missing, and pics wouldnt hurt either

 

map sensor, enigine temperature sensor is mia and possibly more need to take a better look tomorrow. and ive looked at rywire before i just dont know which setup would be for me lots of different options lol, wiring is not my strong point

 

just get the full obd1 conversion harness, it will pretty much replace your current engine harness. but are you already converted to mpfi?

edit: also for now since i am planning on doing a b16 swap in the near future after my insurance is paid off for next year (thank god it almost is) could i just buy a d16z6 harness off of some on the market place here or ebay just to get me through the next month or two?

It is true i am missing the same damn thing plug. I think it is called c217. I am not sure. But when i pulled my motor out i only disconnected two wires from the passenger shock tower and a ground and one round wire from the driverside. Now, im aal messed up with this d16z6 vtec grrr
