the 89: 180k

1991 LX 257,000 chassis .. about 35,000 this junkyard engine since i dropped in.. god knows how many it had on it

 

112k on 96 coupe

30-40k motor should be complete by Fri.

 

127.5K its still *purring*

 

Just passed the 90K mark last Thursday.

 

171,+ How much longer can this go on?

 

58K on a '96

 

123k and counting on my 97 EX.

 

153K on 95.

Just the other day I noticed mine was like 144,444.4 (and ~15K on motor).
Chassis is still rock solid and rust free (besides the notorious rear quarter panel/wheel well rust spot that many older Hondas have).

 

188K on my '91 EX

202K on my stepson's '88 LX

My nephew's 92/93 (not sure which) that my sister had purchased new was just totalled a couple of months ago by a woman on a cel phone with 340,000+ on it. The one my sister had before that had over 300,000 when it got totalled by some guy that was fighting with his girlfriend. They are on #3, a 2001.

Co-worker has a '93 EX Coupe with 137K of VERY hard miles and is still going strong.

 

since my car was originally bought in FL and has yet to see salt (this is its first winter) ... any suggestions? My car has ZERO rust on it.. I'm thinking maybe silicone seal that area to keep water/salt from staying in there for any length of time.

 

I've heard some remove the rear wheel well liner to stop water from accumulating back there. I dunno. I think mine just rusted to due to crappy bodywork from a small scratch I had on the rear quarter panel years and years ago.

As for mine i've cut/grinded out all the rust... I'll have a stainless steel plate welded in there and then find a good body shop.
