Hi all, I rebuilt a d15b2 and converted from dpfi to mpfi and the first time I started it up it ran great with a little white smoke. after running it for an hour or so it now billows, especially when I floor the gas petal. I puled the spark plugs and noticed clean oil all over the tops where the plug wires connect to them and the bottoms were blackened. I'm guessing its the little round seals for the valve cover, I'm sure someone has encountered this and I was wandering what you have done to fix this?

I made sure everything was very clean and dry when I put the seals on the valve cover before placing it on the head.

 

I always use a little bit of grey silicon on those bad boys.

 

or any time of high heat silicone. i use some free aerospace silicone i grab from around my shop lol

you can also buy a cheap replacement valve cover gasket set from egay...!!!
