I need the opinion of all you genuises.... A 1992 Civic Hatchback Hatchback VX with 138,000 miles on it. One owner, 5 speed. Paint is in good condition, car has no damage other than slight hail damage on the roof and hood. Seats and interior are in very good condition. Also has Honda accessory wheels. What is this car worth?

Thank you all for getting back to my post so quick. I actually will be purchasing it tomorrow. I drove it today, very nice car. Ran the CARFAX, everything is clean. Thanks again for all your help.

I paid $700. This car also comes with records of oil changes, as well as stamps from the two certified dealerships that performed the manufacturers routine maintenance. From the way it looks, his work was done in Louisiana at one dealership, there are about 6 stamps from them, and then the rest was performed at a dealership in Maryland, where he must have moved and where I live now. As long as the state inspection goes well, crossing my fingers, I will buy it tomorrow for $700. Probably park it until the winter, as this won't be my primary driver for a little, and maybe fix the little hail dings and re-paint it in the meantime. Once again, thanks for the help.

 

I went with him to test drive it. all that was wrong was some minor hail damage, paint chips on black plastic mirrors.
