Default Crack in clutch case

I'm looking at buying a trans with some cracks in the clutch case. Wondering even after removing the jb weld and having it welded properly, is this an area that can be repaired or are the stresses too high? Fwiw, it's an H22 trans offered to me for $100 + shipping.

If the internals are in good shape pick it up and replace the clutch housing.

Yup change the housing, Check diff for preload too May have to reshim it. Dont F with trying to re weld it. Its not worth your tiume, but if the internals are clean, the trans is worth your money!
