Right Rear Drum Lock Up
Im having a problem with my 90 Civic. The right rear seems to lock up pretty easy. It happens under moderate to hard braking.
Im curious what can cause this, perhaps an out of round drum? Everything inside seems to be in good condition (no leaking wheel cylinder, and pretty clean overall). Should I replace the hardware?
I have adjusted it pretty loose, and even then it happens.
My solo season starts up again soon and want to have the brake issue fixed by then.
Edit: Dont think its an out of round drum as there is no pulsation in the pedal.

return springs? double check the wheel cylinder..making sure its not stuck. adjust the shoes off the drum a bit more when installing the drum back on.
I changed out all of the hoses, front calipers, rear wheel cyl's, and MC. Bleeded the system three or four times until someone mentioned the proportioning valves.
I pulled both of them and sprayed out the crud and put them back and it still locked the back brakes.
So convinced it was a proportioning valve problem I removed them again and this time cleaned them with a 3m pad (the brownish red ones) Sprayed them out and reassembled them and ta da it all worked perfect.
I believe there was some hard varnish kinda stuff on the parts and with that pad I scrubbed it away.
