Hello all, I'm in the middle of swapping out my old d15 for a fresh d16z6 in my 88 crx. I am stuck on the driver side axel. The passenger side came off no problem but the driver side will not budge. I have applied pb blaster and still no luck. Any suggestions?

Is it stuck in the hub or stuck in the trans? Is the nut off?

 

It is stuck in the transmission, I got the hub off (which I thought was going to be the hard part). I have a 3ft long crow bar and it wont budge.

 

Any one have an idea? I've done everything else that needs to be done to get the engine out, this is the only thing holding me back lol.

just break it at the cv joint and buy a new one?

 

Trust me chor!zo, I have put a hell of a lot more pressure on the axel than that. Maybe I will just try to get the engine out with it still in there if that's possible and worry about it later. I have a few ball joint forks i can try on it if I can get it out.
