Default 15x8 ET0

Hi lads i was thinking about buying a set of 8in wheels for my ej1. I want to fit 225/45/15
or 235/45/15. I now have 15x6.5 with 205/50/15 R888's with a 38mm offset.
If i go with a zero offset will the tyre and wheel clear the rear trail arm?
Modifying the front arches is ok but its the rear im worried about. Anyone running this set up please post up and let me know if its worth it. thanks

you can run a 15x8 et36 easy and still stay in the stock arches(maybe a little roll depending on camber and spring rates). a et0 is going to be out there quite a bit flares would be needed or expect to have the tires hanging out

Do they sell 235/45-15 on your side of the pond? They don't here...

Yep, that's going to stick out a good 1 1/2" to 2" past the fender. Inside clearance will only improve as you go down numerically in offset (+45 to +38 for example).
