Default 5th gen lude~~Question about radiator

Hi everyone, I m newbie here
Currently have a leaking problem on the top of my stock radiator(cracking of plastic), struggle to choose a aluminium or stock radiator for replacement.
Any advises are welcome~~
If go for aluminium one, any info. about which band is good and price will be around 200~300 dollars?
Thanks a lot~~~

I like C&R and Fluidyne, but I think both of those are out of your price range. I think Mishimoto would be inexpensive, and I believe they're fairly good.

I also have a brand new, never used, 100% aluminum C&R radiator I'd like to sell. While it's brand new, it does not have a box, and it is missing the radiator cap (available from C&R for around $25) and drain (can be purchased at HD or Lowes, most likely, as I bet it's an NPT fitting). I honestly have no idea if OEM fans will bolt up to it, but from what I've read, most people use SPAL fans. I don't have any OEM fans here to try, so I can't help you there.

These were around $400-ish brand new, IIRC. $150 + shipping and it's yours.

Weld quality (wow!!):

^--- looks way better than OEM thats for sure.

Koyo is a good brand to look into based on my experience but may be out of the price range.

I have the C&R as well, and it is top notch. $150 is an absolute steal, I paid almost $500 for mine 3 years ago.

That radiator would work only for a base manual model right? i don't see the fittings for the ATTS or automatic coolant lines.

Thank you guys~~~the information is so helpful!!
I set the price range around 300 is because the stock(denso) radiator also cost 300......that's why I am not sure I should go with the stock one or aluminium one~~

because i want to replace the radiator by myself, and my lude is a type SH, will it be so difficult to replace since I need to deal with the ATTS?

Also, where will you guys order the radiator usually, internet or? (sorry if this is a silly question, since I m new and not sure where I can buy parts.)

Anyway, thank you you guys!!

On my daily driver I just looped the lines for the ATTS unit. The ATTS has oil temp sensors, so if for some reason the oil got too hot it would shut the system down anyway; fyi I've never had a problem in the past 3 years. Also, you can add an external oil cooler for the ATTS unit (I'm going to be doing this soon); most are like $50.

The ATTS shouldn't be an issue. It's just two additional coolant lines going to the radiator; simple to take off and re-attached. If you get a radiator made for the SH, it would have the fittings for those coolant lines.

The base auto, AND the SH use the same radiator because they both use a radiator tank tranny cooler.

I got my OEM radiator for 89 or 98 dollars about 6 months ago. Aluminums are nice but deff out of the price range the OP posted. IMHO, I think OEM works perfect and has PLENTY cooling capacity unless you are a DAILY racer. I guess it really depends if he/she wants the bling factor that comes along with a alum. unit.
