True the bare blocks are the same, but there are other parts that can add up quickly, if you buy an OBD2 block and have to switch over to OBD1 parts, such as: oil pump, lower timing belt cover, timing belt gear, oil cooler, cooler hoses, and coolant tube. That can easily add up to a couple hundred bucks of unecessary expenses.
i have one in cali that ill sell you for cheap. $200 plus shipping. it has a crack in one sleeve but i will give you some brand new in box darton sleeves. let me know.
