billet 62/62 vs BBT72 dyno
well heres the story about this...
I put my race motor into my daily driver to play around with over the off season..
the car was originally put together with everything out of my race car minus the fuel system. got it running on pump gas and made 508hp on about 12 psi with the T72.
drove it around for a few days and switched to to e85. got it up to 608hp on 18psi. head to the track last night and the shaft breaks on the turbo. didnt even get a pass in.
I had a precision 62/62 laying around here so i threw it on to be able to drive... here are the results
blue line 62/62 on 18.5 psi red T72 on 18 psi

setup consists of
2.0 ltr gsr motor
84.5mm cp pistons
eagle rods
ported gsr head
skunk2 pro1 cams
victorx intake manifold
topmount manifold
speaco intercooler
hondata s300 with boost control
1600cc injectors
single modded 255 fuel pump wired direct off relay
e85

this pass was about 16 psi at red line and sae on this one is about 6-7hp less

Great stuff, 62 billet doing work. I love my 6265, these 62's are great Precision units.
I would definately take the 62 over that t72, the little peak power lost in that route is more than made up with the overall much better power under the curve.
Nice work, good post!

awesome graph. cant wait to get my 6262 setup installed on my s2k.
is the 6262 a bb unit or jb? and i am assuming .82 exh housing. also, are you using any restrictor for it?
