just like the title says, it'll run like crap untill it warms up, it'll run alittle better, and then it'll finally feel decently quick when the check engine light comes on, about 20 mins into driving it......

vtec doesn't work either
the only code(s) its throwing is:
-code 6(coolant temp sensor) at times
-code 12(dont even know what this is)

the ecu is a pr3 btw

the only thing i can think thats wrong with it is the ecu is bad, i re-did the wiring and everything......

 

fix the codes. if not, try another ECU

 

i fixed the coolant temp sensor, but it still comes on, what about the code 12 that doesnt even exist atleast to my knowlege weird huh

 

yea i would guess that you need a new ecu if it thinks you have and egr valve

my guess is that you have an automatic ecu. maybe thats why its throwing a EGR code.
try another ecu.
(i had a PR4 ecu when running my B16a and it ran okay. not great, yet not terrible) try another ecu.

 

Test with open header to make sure the exhaust is not to small as that happened to me, it was a slow rotting inside the cat. Had us all stumped for a long time.

 

are you sure your 02 sensors are hooked up properly?

 

i checked already they all lead to an area, and its not an o2 sensor code anyways

 

i have a greddy catback, im pretty sure that it wouldnt be that, thanks though
