Icon2 NEED HELP WITH my ls ef

just swapped and car is running....every hose is connected...timing is on point and new belt...new distrib. distrib cap and rotor. plugs.. wires.. new injectors. ...........HERES THE PROB........ when i turn car on the car is revving/idleing at 4k then 4.5k......i adjusted the distrib... but nothing....change the throttle cabble but same thing.....not sure what it could be........ANYONE??? thanks

start it up and full the plug to the iacv and see if it idles done could be a leaking tb gasket or intake mani..

did you use the old intake mani gasket? whats your idle screw set at? did you clean your fitv valve and screw it all the way back in? check all your connections, look at your t/b. i had to clean mine out a few times/take it completely apart numerous times lol

cover up ur throttle and if theres a leak u can try and spray some starting fluid around the intake mani and see if it revs up a lil more

If I remember correctly, adjusting the screw in the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve) can adjust the idling at start up. Then when it's warmed up the ICV(Idle Control Valve) takes over. Try cleaning it and adjusting the screw. If that doesn't fix the problem. Clean the ICV valve and for possible vaccum leak.
