exhaust install question

Default exhaust install question

okay i was wondering when i go to install my newest exhaust will i have to weld the brakets to the frame or w/e or is it more or less gonna hold up in there by its self just wondering becuase my cuzin was saying id have to weld it up in there but i nenver heard of having do that so yea just asking so i get a tigger if ima need it

if its an aftermarket exhaust, it should already have the hangers installed. if its a one off deal, like you make yourself or something, you will probably have to weld some on it then. my ebizzle exhaust fit great with no welding. and i'm sure the more expensive brands you won't have to either.

I'm not sure which exhaust part your refering to, but most exhasut parts have hangers that attach to hangers on the body with a rubber part that slips onto both hangers and suspends the exhaust.

As previously mentioned, there are a lot of different exhausts, so its hard to say exactly how yours will fit. Most need at least hangers around the muffler and SOMEWHERE along the piping.

Definitely make sure it is supported well, as you don't want to be THAT guy with the muffler/exhaust scraping the ground and drawing nasty looks!
