Default 3" DP and (2) 44mm WGs to 4" exhaust?

Ok, so I am running a 3" DP and (2) 44mm wastegates. Will also be running a 4" aluminum exhaust. I will be running a 3" to 4" transition and then the 4" flex pipe. Would it be a restriction to run the (2) 44mm dumptubes to the 3" to 4" transition? I don't want it to rob any power.

But there's a big "My Recent Topics" button in the middle above, works great.

If they're put close to the transition, it will be small enough to not see on the dyno. Some guys swear they pick up noticable power when they have open dumps, but I've not seen any proof on 3"+ pipes. Just make sure it's a smooth transition into the 3" and you should be fine.

Here's the real key - the more boost you run, the less that goes out the WG's.

Thanks. That is exactly what I was thinking and was just needing to hear that from somebody else

By the way. It is a k24 which likes 3" exhaust when all motor if that makes a difference...

And I didnt want as much power as I would normally make at 8psi so this will probably benefit me down low for the street. And will be turning the boost up to 24psi
