those look like stock placement to me. keep it stock and you dont have to worry. go with JDM ITR header, with those skid plates in place no worries about bending the down pipe. unless you really suck at driving.

Those two 4-2-1s were as good as I could find when I was looking for a good performing header with good ground clearance. I went with the the T*DA header. I don't know about the Highend header but the T*DA header will fit without cross member modification.
ground clearance? 4-2-1 header will do the job. my 4-1 got chewed up from being lowered w/ a Bseries. hytech/profab (pulling names out) header do not fit with the stock cross member as they stick more outward towards the t bar.. they are 4-2-1. Just fyi.
i had a b20vtec and that **** is fast enough. i used a stock header to disguise as a stock motor
but your not in cali..

In my EF I had a jg edelbrock 4-2-1 and had excellent ground clearance. with the JDM 4-1 the header was the lowest point on the car and scaped it a few times. Oh and if you go with the jg modify the collector to 2.5".
lol, worst advice ever... also did you even look at the links posted? the JDM ITR header is one of the lowest hanging headers, although pretty much any 4-1 will be low...

I can take pics of it next to my HyTech replica and beat to hell DC Sports 4-1 B16A header but my CRX is COMPLETELY stripped and in the body shop for a full restoration right now so no on car pics for a while.
u simply cut a box shapped notch in the crossmember like u would have to do with any ef with a bseries and 4to1 header, and if your slammed to my specs, i feel sorry for u if ur going to waste ur money on a type-r header if its the real jdm piece cause they hang pretty damn low. ur best bet if your slammed is to use a 4-2-1 design. speaking from a guy with a b20 crx thats been dumped on a 4 inch drop.. and im planning on going lower in the summer for th eibach meet.lol
