just wondering but what does your car dyno at and what kinda times do you run... just wondering because I was thinking about doing a setup pretty much just like yours and would like to know what to expect... Thanks

i will be going to the dyno as soon as i get my head back form the PP and slap on a spoon headgasket. damn its been way to long since i have had my baby runnig right......i guess i will have to suffer for another week or so.

don't argue with him on how good a h22 is also 2point6 knows a lot about h22s so you may want t o search for him and ask him some things.
how much/little are you porting it? and also, just intake, just exhaust, or both?
i will have more deatils when the head is actually done and on the car.

actually. . . . you'd need higher than 117. lookofsky's h22 (or more precisely, h26) runs 16 to 1, and they run some whacked out super-gas. needless to say, i've been involved in trying to tune some dumbasses' civic that had an ls/vtec and high comp pistons and shaved head- that was something along the lines of a 13.2 to 1 compression, and it was basically untunable. even on 100 octane we couldnt sto it from knocking. anyway, thats all besides the point. the amount of work in making an engine that could be 15 to 1 compression would involve custom pistons that are formed exactly to the precise spec of the valves and blah blah blah etc etc
