didn't completely drain engine before removal, should I be concerned
hi fellows, I got an Integra for parts and when I removed the engine I forgot to drain the coolant from the block (the drain plug that's on the block), my question is should I be concern that was coolant poured into the cylinder head and on top of the pistons when I was hoisting the engine out?

If your pulling the engine apart no, if not then you will want to get it out of there, compressed air will get rid of most of it, squirt some oil into the cylinders and you should be OK. 94
If your gonna be running it, just make sure to check it out. Take out the plugs and look down there with a light. Or if you can get your hands on one, a borescope would be the best.
ok just pulled the valve cover and removed the spark plugs to look at the pistons, no signs of coolant. BUT there was a piece of soft metal the coolant poured out the drains... what the hell could it have come from?
