Default Correct alarm install procedure..??? HELP! Evil teken or alarm genious heLP!

I installed my alarm into my 1990 crx si.. its an Avital 2200... I have hooked up a few alarms before into cars but not a honda.. there was alarm wire still in teh car.. like the dome light wire.. the ground.. which is by the steering colum.. and 2 wires in the fuse box by the top of it.. they were for the ignition and the parking lights...

So I hook up everything thing how it says in the manual and I put in the actuators in the doors.. (i put the wires on backwards.. woop ) so my doors lock when I want them to unlock and vise versa... but when I set the alarm off.. it clicks and instead of doing the 6 tones it does 1 and it does it like half and the locks start tripping out... Do I have a bad ground or somethign not hooke up right?? need help quickly...

First off, check the power and the ground going to your alarm, if all is ok, proceed to check the wiring at the actuators, that can cause the locks to trip out.

The alarm might be clicking do to a fault power or ground on the battery siren (check the runs with a continuity meter for the ground, and the DC voltage on the power)

Just some thoughts

ok to fix the door locks just swap the wires second check to makke sure you have the yello wire going to the black / with yellow stripped ten gauge wire going to the ignition switch them make sure the red wire is going to the white ten gauge wire going to the ignition harness them make sure your white wire {comming from the alarm is going to the red with black stripe wire that is behind the dimmer switch the door trigger is green with a red stripe deep in the driver kick pannel the wire is very thick but most if it is insulation so be carful when you strip back the wire next your going to make a ground in the kick pannel make sure its very sturdy and has slack when you put the alaem brain back up so you dont pull it out also i would recommend taking out the old alarm too
