So I got a 91 dx hatch when I got it the hood cable was snapped so I got a new cable put it in all was fine. but I went to open it today and then it wouldnt close.....so I adjusted it but now it won't open I need like a mad discription thanks.............

pull the hood cable out towards the driverside wheel and have someone pull up the hood...!!!

 

Here is what you need to do.
Take a long (18" preferably) screw driver, position it between your bumper and a/c condenser. Then position it where your hood latch is at, the big bolt with a spring you adjusted earlier and with a hammer hit it. Then it should pop open the first click. Then open it like normal.

doesnt have to be that big, thats just the one i have. it just has to be long enough to reach the hood latch and you still be able to reach it with a hammer

 

Yeah ill see what I got and while I'm at it ima probleee put a new hood latch

 

you wont need a new one. just spend some time adjusting it. also dont forget to adjust the little bump stops above the headlights. those adjust by twisting it like a screw

 

just get 2 ppl like someone already said
