Alright, car is 93 Si, slave cylinder is bad and I bought a new one to replace it but this thing is in one tight spot. I need to know if there is some trick to getting this thing out without taking out the main cooling fan that only seems to want to come out with the radiator. I really don't want to pay $200+ in labor just for someone else to change it, help anyone?
you just have to unbolt it you have to take anything else off if im correct its two bolts on the slave.
it is in a tight spot so you will have to cram your hands in there to get it

you need to disconnect the fluid line from the slave first. then remove the two bolts holding it to the block. piece o cake. if you don't have the right tool i suppose it could be hard.
also, save yourself some time and get a bleeder pump. its almost impossible to do it by hand in my experience.

I know how to do it I was just wondering if there was some trick to getting to it since it's in such a tight spot but it seems other than getting the cooling fan loose to give some extra wiggling room there isn't any easier way. =/
It's not too bad, mind you, my engine bay is pretty gutted and only alternator so I have tons more room.
Removing the rad fan isn't much of a task either though... 4 10mm bolts and a plug.

Getting the cooling fan out is harder than just unbolting it since the hytech rep header and front mount keeps it from moving to the side and coming out there and of course the upper rad hose, ac lines and the fill spout of the rad keep it from coming straight up. Well I still have full amenities, bought a nice breaker bar to get those 4 17mm bolts holding the radius rods to the LCAs so I can just drop the front cross member and do it from the bottom.
