TW: Championship White CTR Replica Wheels & Yokohama S. Drive Tires
Just TW on this. I'm finally starting to prioritize my life right now and am actually getting my act together. I'm done spending money on my car. I'm trying to sell everything off to pay off the debt I put myself into from buying them.
Wheel Specs:
- 16x7
- +42 offset
- OEM wheel nut seat (rounded, not coned)
- 4x100
- Approx 17 lbs.
Tire Specs:
- 205/45/16
- 20 lbs. each
- 300 AA A UTQG
- Max load: 1201 lbs.
- 1,677 miles on them
- All 4 tires have approximately 7-7.5/32 tread left
I purchased these wheels and tires BRAND SPANKING NEW in September. I had them professionally mounted and balanced from a reputable company and they didn't put a single scratch or ding on them. The problem is, they are replica's so the actual quality of the wheels isn't absolutely 100% perfectly clean. There are some tiny imperfections that you can see up close and the entire wheel itself isn't 100% painted. They focused on painting what people would see when they were on the car. The inside of the wheel is slightly darker and you can see the lack of paint that was applied. Again, they are replica's and weren't made to perfection.
The bad:
I curbed 2 of the wheels
. It was at night. It was pouring and dark out and I misjudged a turn, couldn't see the curb too well, and took it too early and bumped 2 of the wheels so you can see the metal underneath. They're not that big at all. Each mark is about 1" long, 1/4" wide if that, and are VERY light surface marks. On one of the tires with the curb mark, I took a small chunk out of the tire, about the size of a dime, not very deep at all. As far as I know, the 2 wheels that hit the curb are the only wheels that are damaged. I took a careful look at them when I put took them off the car and put them away but I will look again for any other marks I might've made.
I paid $650 for the wheels and $385.65 for the tires making a grand total of $1035.65. I don't know what I want to ask yet. I don't want to ship these, considering they're fairly heavy and large. Local pick-up preferred. Located in Western, NY. Willing to drive just a little bit to meet. If there is enough long distance interest, I'll think about shipping them.
