I have a power problem!
so.. i really haven't heard of this situation before but while i was driving, my radio just randomly shut off. Ofcourse I thought that would be a simple fuse problem, but once i turned off the car.. everything that was supposed to have power wasn't working!
The long beep when i had the lights on with the car off didn't go off..
my security system didn't activate..
and ontop of that, the automatic door locks didn't work either
do you think it's a battery related problem or do i have a bigger problem on my hands?

so i have an update on the problem... i got it diagnosed and they didnt find anything wrong with the alternator and/or battery. It was an electrical short and it cost me 5 or 6 fuses. I don't know what it cause to blow out so many things at once.

VTEC! No, but serious. Do you have any aftermarket electronics installed? I would check those. Otherwise I am not sure, very strange.
The closest thing I have to any aftermarket electronics is my touch screen player. but that went out with the rest of the stuff.. that could be it but then i again im still at a stump.
i do have my iphone charger plugged in but it's rarely used.

you might want to go to autozone and have them hook up the their machine to the battery and plug in your iPhone charger and see if the voltage changes at all.
When I had my turbo civic I had all types of gauges/turbo timer/boost controller, and my battery would be dead if I didnt drive it for a couple days. I was able to trouble shoot it when they hooked my car up when its off and then start disconnecting electronics to see when the drain stopped. But your is pretty much the opposite. Good luck.

I had a similar problem, i remember in another threa you saying you have your fogs wired to your sidemarkers i belive. Check that wiring and see if it has gotten hot at all.
I did have it like that at one time and thats when i found out the hard way about why you should not do it like that. my radio just shutoff out of nowhere and my lights where flickering.
