Default NEED YOUR HELP TO BUILD MY 1ST MOTOR

Hey, so uh i just bought alot of books on rebuilding B series motors to read and learn from, i also have an uncle to help me build a motor.

So with that being said, I want to build a b series motor for boost.
Ill need your guy's help since im new to cars and parts and such...So what im asking from you guys is if you can help me choose what parts to buy.

Ill be rebuilding my b18b1 motor. Im on a budget so try not to choose the parts that are super expensive and dont pick some super cheap bootleg parts.

Im looking to make atleast +250hp. So whats a good setup?

get some stg 2 cams, and valves, springs, etc, upgrade the valvetrain. Leave the block stock(going for cheap). T3/t3 turbo at 12 psi, with a GOOD tune. Shld be 300+ guaranteed

Is it a daily driver or track car ? does passing smog matter? Just basic questions. How many miles is on the engine. Anyway I just had my short block B18 built by Golden Eagle Mfg. I chose to resleve my block and not have to deal with any problems later.I also bought Eagle Rods and Arias pistons. Building a motor or the first time I would leave the short block to the pro's. Good luck what ever you do.

if you dont know what a smog test is then it doesnt affectm you its an emissions test that some states have, and sleeving the block can beover a 1,ooo dollars if you pay a shop to do it, but its unnecesary unlease your going to run really high psi
