Default Buying an ITR.. what to with my LS suspension setup?

now I have a modded ls with these suspension mods and I do not want to give up all my investment on the suspension that I paid...

Skunk2 pro-s coilover
skunk2 front & rear camber kit
asr subframe
skunk2 LCA

just want to make sure if I can install all those part on the type R with the LS LCA ?

and will ASR subframe bolt on to ITR rear ??

Thanks,

Most of it'll fit, but why?

The ITR already has a beefed-up subframe.

You don't need a camber kit on the R, except maybe the rear.

Why put on the other style of LCAs on the car when the ITR style is much stronger? I know you need this for the suspension, but personally I wouldn't do it.

Basically, just sell what you have and either leave the R stock or do it right.

Honestly, Skunk2 suspension (coilovers) is way over-rated.

ASR subframe wont fit. sell it.

rest of the suspension swaps over, as long as you use your ricer LCA's.

wait... what? if your saying that cuz you believe they should all be on stock suspension, then whatever. but if its lowered like most every other honda (slammed) its gonna need at least a little camber correction.

Why do you think it would need camber correction?

If you think tires will wear out quicker with negative camber, stroll on over to the suspension forum and read the thread stickied at the top of the page.

The ASR won't fit the ITR, nor do you even need it. Sell the rest of that Shit2 crap and learn/enjoy the stock sussy. If you're just a ricer and want to shizzlamm the car then enjoy..

dont need to go over there. i have negative camber on all corners. i like camber. i have had many cars with the same camber "that kills tires" and have had them wear perfectly across. bet it says that?

i just like to have the ability to put the camber where i feel it would work the best. i like the adjustablity, not just the car is lowered and thats the camber it has.

Thats an acceptable reason for camber kits, then.

I thought you were implying that it's 100% necessary to correct camber when lowering, in the OP's case, an ITR.

If you lower the R to a reasonable level, you're looking at around 2 degrees negative in the front. That's a decent amount for a daily driver/weekend autoxer.

Rear camber is what you don't want, but that's easily corrected with $.75 worth of washers. Why add the extra weight and complexity of a camber kit (not to mention the $100 you just wasted).

Also, front camber kits suck. Too much of a chance for slipping. That and I honestly don't think they are as strong as the OEM piece they replace. I've seen folks break them, but they usually slip first.

Thanks,
Camber kits will be the same
skunk2 coilvers will work if you use the ls style control arms that you already have
and the ASR will not fit the ITR rear subframe since its already reinforced.

Why don't you leave in the ITR LCAs...call up skunk2 and see if they have a bottom bracket for an ITR that they can sell you seperately. If not, then use the LS LCA, I guess.
