hey i have a 00 civic and i was looking for the mudguards for this year. can i use any mud guards from 96 and up? also i have a rear oem style lip. can i still modify the rear mudguards so that it can fit or would it look TOTALLY awkward and wrong? thanks

you have to modify the mudguards to fit... there is a thread on here somewhere about it

 

or you can just get rsx rear flaps

not sure... you are gonna have to search... EK Tommy has pics so you might be able to check his stuff out to see if he says what he has

either that or just modify coupe mudguards to fit in the gap

I had this same exact thread last week

For the fronts you can use any 96-2000
For the rears you have to get 99-2000 unless you have a hatch because the rear bumper didnt change on hatches; all ek hatches have the same rear bumper

But seeing as you have a rear lip, it doesn't matter what year you get cuz you're gonna have to trim anyways.

OR..... Get 02-06 rsx rear mudguards

I'll keep you posted with pics when install my 96-98 front and rear mudguards on my 2000 hatch with lip next week
