Heres the specs: Motor is D16Y8 with stock intake manifold, stock head freshly redone with arp head studs,bottom end has G.E. block gaurd, bored 20 over with suzuki viatara dish pistons, eagle h beam rods, polished crank with acl bearings. All gaskets are O.E.M. Honda and running obd1 d16z6 injectors, and obd1 injector plugs, (for the reason of upgraded
injectors after motor is broke in,then direct port 200 shot, and maybe a jackson supercharger).stock 98 ex ecu.
Now the problem is code PO300, PO301, PO301,and sometimes the knock and o2 sensor codes. Bought new dizzy, same thing. Brand new wires and ngk plugs, same thing. Diffrent injectors, checked wiring three times, and F.P.R., same thing. Compression test is 150 cross the board. Replaced map sensor,same thing. Checked and found no vaccum leaks. Running 93 octane fuel.
No c.e.l. car will start and run perfect, idle fine till it comes up to temp then slowly starts to miss a bit,then keeps gettin worse till c.e.l. starts flashin. Clear c.e.l. start the car hop in and take off run like a dream,smooth, hits vtec, but will sometimes trip the knock sensor code while crusin bout 50-55. But the misfire code has me stumped and is killing me, it wont go away( we have emissions so i cant jump to obd1 and have tried other obd2a ecus) so anyone think of or know what my problem is or could be. Figured out the problem adjusted the valves and it stopped trippin the code,so if any one ever has this problem that is what fixed it. so hope it helps someone else
