Default Drove car through puddle now CEL on

So I just drove my car throw a big puddle (not a puddle that goes up to my bumper) but when I drove through it water jumped up to my engine bay.

I don't have a fender liner on my passenger side (the side the car went in the water), I'm lowered 2.5 inches and have a Short ram intake. My car started to try to stall and the CEL started to blink and stayed solid. before it stayed solid I pulled over and shut my car off.

I drove home and it run normal, but tries to stall sometimes.

I unplug the battery and clean the spark plugs. I plan on draining the oil soon.

What do you guys suggest me do?

SORRY NO CEL CODE FOR NOW.

Any help would help.

Thanks

Cliffs:
-Drove through puddle
-CEL blinked and stayed on
-engine tried to stall and sometimes tries to stall when driving.
-unplug battery and dried spark plugs

let your intake dry

c if you got water in your dist cap

let plugs dry

unplug battery for 5 mintus and replug it back on

The EX has no EGR system. When you pulled the plugs, was there water in the cylinders? Have you removed the distributor cap to check for water inside?

oh okay. yeah i didnt see a egr valve, there was no water in the plugs or caps. Imma go to autozone tommrow to check for my code. any ideas what it can be?

my intake was somewhat wet but not wet enough for water to be dripping out of the filter

Is water 'pooling' anywhere at all in your intake system? This means from the filter all the way to the end of the runners in the intake manifold. Find out

yai would take off the short ram and the throttle boddy and just take a look to see if there is any condensation left over from any water being in side there
