I finally pulled together most the odds and ends that my ITR was missing. Along with it I purchased some koni's, star specs, hp plus' and some maitinence parts to be ready for some local events. I need didnt clean it but here are some decent pictures.

I'm curious to know where in japan this car came from. Yeah, lots of nice back roads were i can drive her without thieves to follow me home. I finally got a garage and a nice view of anybody coming up my road.

It doesn't always look like that. That picture was taken a few days ago and it was 20 degrees outside. It's usually green. Only difference is my house is 350k and your smaller house in socal goes for 800k. j/k

So you didn't import it? Someone else imports them? Walk us through the buying process. What do you have to do to register it? How bad does it suck to drive RHD?

No I didn't import it. N1concepts imported it for the previous owner. I just got a loan for a 98 itr and explained to the bank that its the same model as the US, but its imported from japan. They said it's fine as long as it had a 10 digit vin. They still went off of the KBB value. We don't have emissions here and it passed emissons in norcal so that wasn't a problem. After I actually had possesion of the car I had 30 days to insure it. It's insured full coverage as a Special Construction Vehicle. And it helped that the employee doing my loan paper work knew that R's are collectors cars. I love WA

Oh and no, it's easy driving a rhd.

 

No it's not jeremy's car. My itr is b series and it's gonna stay like that. His was nice though.

I had some local guy who owns an import parts shop come up to me and try to buy it. I told him I just got it and I didnt plan on selling it soon. He then told me he knew someone who would give me "20 g's" for it lol. Im 90% positive he was exagerating.

He said they werent for sale, but if I were to buy mf10's I would but a silver set. I paid less than 15k and he trailored it to my house too. cool guy in person.
