I was wondering if a catalytic converter from 98 civic ex fit on a 95 civic ex? My cousin is willing to give me the cat if it would work.If anyone knows let me know

 

Well they have this new law about cats cuz u have 2 have the right cat in the car or it won't pass smog I should know cuz I just got ref 2 month ago and they were making a big deal about the cat cuz the frist time I went I had a cat for a 1.5single cam and it didn't pass smog until I put the 1.6 single cam cat and I pass like nothing so u 2 have the one that goes 4 ur car 2 pass smog so if ur cuzin is giving u one and its the same engine size and everything u should be fine ....good luck cuz if its not the right one ur going 2 spend on a cat when u do smog like 250 bucks .....

 

I'm pretty sure it will fit physically. But I'm thinking there is another O2 sensor in the 98 cat. OBD2. Could be mistaken.

so basicly it would fit but wont help me pass smog
