secondary o2 sensor bypass????
Does anyone know how to bypass the secondary o2 sensor for 2000 civic hatchback? I have a 00 civic hatch with jdm itr motor motor. I am using a 00 civic si engine harness & 00 si (p2t) ecu. Ecu is looking for secondary o2 sensor, but my si engine harness doesn't have the secondary o2 sensor plug. I know 2000 civic si's have their secondary o2 plug on the body, but my hatch doesn't have it on the body, so i'm out of luck. Anyone know how I can get rid of this cel? I dont want to jump it to obd1. I wanna keep it at obd2
u need to search more buddy...

damn. i was hoping there would be another way to bypass it. I read about that on a different website. I guess i'm just gonna have to wire it upto the ecu. gay. thanks anyways
I'm going to have to do the same thing like you. I tried to put my secondary o2 sensor on, but it kept on hitting the body of the car so it wouldn't fit right. Did you tap the primary and secondary ecu lines together or did u tap it from the o2 sensor?

i got another or broken O2 n cut off the Male end of the plug, and just wired "splice" it into the prim. so my prim has to plus coming out of 1 O2.
hey i did that today which got rid of the cel, but now, my cluster lights stays on when i turn off the car. Only way i can turn off the cluster light is when i pull the battery cable off. Did this happen to you too?
So i spliced another harness onto my primary o2 sensor, so my o2 sensor has 2 plugs coming out. When I plug my primary and seconary sensor up, it keeps throwing cel for 41 which is primary o2 sensor. Then i reset the ecu, i switch up the plugs, it still does the same thing. I reset the ecu again, this time I unplug the secondary o2 and keep my primary connected, it still throws primary o2 sensor, but it doesn't throw seconary o2 sensor. This **** is giving me a headache.
To all the people that's gonna ask me why i didn't I just connect my secondary o2 sensor from the cat, where my cat is located at, the o2 sensor wont fit cuz it keeps hitting the body.
