Default Bad transmission, solenoids or something else?

I have a 98 2.3 acura cl auto. It has 188,000 miles and Ive only had a problem with the throttle position sensor. Its still bad but im working on it. First off its totally stock. I haven't driven it in a day and the temp was 21 degrees today. I warmed the car up for 15 minutes and took it for a spin. I started to notice that in 3rd gear my car slows down and bogs. I took my foot off the gas and pressed the gas lightly. It sputtered and straighten it self out. Now im back to normal. Me being worried i turned around and went home. When i got a block from my house i stopped at the stop sign and tried to accelerate hard. The car said no, lol and sputtered. I sputtered half way down the block until i took my foot off and applied lightly again. The car straighten up again and i made it home.

Has anyone had this problem?
Could it be the weather?
Solenoids maybe?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

any CEL, or D4 (i believe) light blinking, indicating something wrong with tranny.

Fix the TPS problem first and then you will be able to tell if there is anything wrong with your transmission. I'm going to guess that it is the bad TPS that is the root of the problem.
