which size Throttle body would be best for my d16z6? skunk2
got a d16z6, mods-cold air intake,headers, exhaust(soon to be upgraded)
gonna be upgrading my stock manifold 56" to a skunk 2 pro series manifold 62mm plenum opening, couldnt find other threads on what size TB would be best (performance wise), so thats why im asking now, would love some help
and if anyone could explain to me the physics on this, i would greatly appreciate it

Stock, unless you have the modifications enough to need to push more air. Honestly I'd say don't even put on the skunk2 intake manifold either. The bigger throttle body isn't going to gain you any power unless you actually need it. The intake manifold is just going to shift your powerband into higher RPMs, so you'll lose low end torque as a trade-off.
If you had higher compression pistons and an aggressive cam, or if you were using some kind of forced induction, you would likely see a benefit from both modifications.

^^this guy is right. it wont be worth it unless you motor is built or boosted. but if you are gonna do it anyway, get a throttle body to match the size of the opening on the intake manifold plenum.
B-Series throttle bottle WILL FIT! they are much cheaper too. or u can use an S2000 one like i did.

by gutting you would mean as ac/ps removal, bucket seats, rear seat delete, interior trim removal, just me my seats shifter and dash? by gut did you mean that?
^^yeah probably. to make alot more power out of the d-series ur gonna need to boost it. unless u got a crap load of money to build it naturally aspirated. (still wont be as fast as turbo)
