Default injectors

just wondering if se-r injectors will fit the f22? asking this because i suspect my injectors might be clogging intermittently and my friend has extra injectors for his se-r so i was just gonna swap them in just to see if my accord injectors are shot

i have no idea and if someone does know the answer to this thats pretty impressive. My guess would be no they wouldnt fit, unless you are talking about the new SE-R? Strange question. Good luck.

yes they will fit...injectors are somewhat universal, and if not perfect they can easily be modified to fit!

In response to nick2k1, dont post stupid **** if you have no idea what you are talking about. There are 2 types of injectors: saturated and peak & hold. I know 5 gen accords use peak and hold and have a resistor box. Also, most nissans use side feed injectors, whereas honda uses top feed injectors. So, they probably will not work.

listen to yourself mayng, i think you need not to post stupid **** if you dont know.
you are half right, there are side feed and top feed, which will matter. but it wont matter if they are saturated or peak and hold, that just indicates their working impedance, not if they will fit.

in response to the question though, i dont know.

injectors fitting in a rail is only half the battle.

he didnt specify what year his car is ... what if his car is equiped with saturated and you had him shove on some peak&holds? i'm sure his ECU's injector drivers/transistors would just love that advice while this is easily workaroundable (is that a word?) its best to know these things BEFORE just plopping some random injectors on the rail.

exactly, your are correct. and i think its a word if you do it as work-aroundable. ?

I am half right???? No, I am right. There ARE two types of injectors: peak & hold and saturated. There is also two body types: top feed and side feed. Even if the injectors from a nissan were peak and hold, how would you make them fit on a top feed rail. Let me guess, stick the rail behind the injectors and let it just flop around. Why must people try stuff like this?

EvoAccord: i said you are half right because the fact that they are p&h or sat.
doesn't mean crap as far as them fitting. it's just the impedance.

i have seen top feed and side feed of both types.

BTW: being half right is an expression.

evo accord, then why did i put 440 cc injectors from an NA eagle talon in my accord...by the way, they did have to be modified as well to fit properly, but i didn't do this because i don't have the proper equipment or knowledge of modifying injectors...i just know they were modified, anyways, the car ran like crap because of all the fuel so i just put the stock injectors back in... on you mang...go take a nap!
