'99 Accord Starting Problem
Year: 1999 Honda Accord
Engine: V6
Transmission: Auto
Here's the deal: upon initially trying to start the car, it will turn over but not catch. If you prime the throttle body with starting fluid, it will start right up and keep running with no further issues(unless the ignition is shut off, then it reverts to the abovementioned issue). What would prevent the vehicle from initially priming? I suspect the ECU, but want to be sure. Also, during the priming process, the injectors do not register any sort of pulse whatsoever(until the vehicle is running, then pulse is evident).
Thanks in advance.

have similar problem with my 2000 accord v6. occasionally when starting, engine would stall unless the gas pedal is pressed for a period of time. also can any one recommend a reputable honda shop in the ft lauderdale area ?
Hopefully I'll be able to figure this out sooner rather than later, and if so, I will post my findings.
