Mobile BAR units, they're out there.
Ran into these guys this morning.

Notice the location, no escape route.

"We're conducting an involuntary survey, so you can't say no, just hand over the key."

Up onto the dyno.

"Results are totally confidential, but the DMV will certainly knows who's naughty who's nice."

"Oooh, B20 swap....what? no Vtak?"

"I'm coming to a neighborhood near you!"
So, if you see signs that say "Survey Crew Ahead", make sure to make a detour if you have something to hide under the hood.

That is just a waste of resources that we (we meaning california) don't need to be doing right now. This is just crazy. There has to be something that can give the right to the people to say no to this BULLSH!T !

So, out come the tax collectors/ticket writers to make a case.
they have these all over cali.. seen some in the 626 area.. the ones I seen, they dont even say survey crew ahead... just cones and cops checking every car, if you're car is old, they'll tell you to pull to the side for the dyno..
They have had these in Riverside for a long time. I see them on Chicago by UCR/post office and North High school. Haven't seen them in a little bit but for a while they were out at couple times a week.
Oh ****.
They told you it was involuntary?
I read in the past you could decline to be surveyed.
EDIT. WTF is the Highway Patrol doing there? Why isn't Westminster PD there?
