factory d16y8 obd2b, died on me. so swaped in a minime motor because it was cheap.


problem: code 23 knock sensor AFTER the car is warmed up...

i know putting in a conversion harness with a p28 will remove this problem, but i need to have the obd2b computer in it, because we have strict emissions regulations.

my question: does the knock read only knock? or does it take any heat readings along with it?

and is there any other way to simulate a knock sensor? so i can pass the emissions test
