Default Is there a J series swap yet?????

This is what should happen in my opinion. Is it out yet? Are there mounts? Who knows anything about it? Who wants to be first. My idea so far now lets see it done.

1. surprise... you aren't the original thinker of this
2. you havent done it yourself because??
3. we are going to do it becuase you say so?
4. the time money and effort to fab up custom parts for such a major swap isnt exactly what many people are thinking of right now given the economy... hell just ask the first guys who did the k series swap - guaranteed it wasnt cheap

To really tell ya the truth I was just wondering about it. So I searched it on here and noone had any info on it. The economy don't stop everyone and I don't have a prelude. I just want to see a finished product. I know its out there somewhere. Just searched google and heres a thread on it. https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...1887794&page=1

Ok just thought I would throw it out there to shed some light on it. Hope to see one at a Import Alliance some day.

1) How much does the J32 weigh compared to the H22?

2) I own a 5th gen Prelude and I am always wondering what would fit under the hood. I sometimes park next to certain cars such as SL's, SLK's, Corvettes & Miata's just to see how close the hood profiles are. I've seen a Civic with a J30 and they had to cut a hole in the hood for clearance. I think the Lude's hood is slightly lower so....?

BTW, I have also researched ways to make the prelude RWD. The Honda Torneo - JDM market only - is based on the Accord Chassis in which the Prelude is basically built on as far as suspension bits go so there is potential there.

yea definately get ready to cut it if we do the J swap - either that or we can be honda's "big block muscle" like we all claim to be and rock the hood with the big *** bump in the middle
