My 00 EK4 to EK9 conversion (if you can call it like that)
This car was built using an EK4 chassis and everything from a RHD EK9 that came with from japland with the roof and rear collision was put into this car. Due to local laws no RHD cars can be drived unless converted to LHD.
Only things missing are the rear seats (looking for them) and minor bits...

How it was when bought:
Engine bay needed a lot of cleaning, and some bits and parts.

Exterior:
Mugen Replica (bad one) lip, and CF HOOD that was all faded and didnt like the design either...

The day it arrived home for the first time (beside my old EK4)

First thing was to fit the CF Spoon style spolier, and change the hood for a OEM ONE

Then changed the Intake and steering system fluid container:

Then noticed that the fender colour wasnt right, and hated the fitment on the lip.
You can see it in this pic:

After searching a lot, found a real mugen lip for a decent price, so i bought it. Also wifey got a little scratch on the front bumper it and broke the replica lip I hated so i had the perfect excuse for buying the new one hehehe. and sending the car to paint.
Ended up painting the hood, fenders (changed them for new ones, case one of the old ones had some body work done to it due to som damage), front bumper, one door and lip. When it was finished noticed that the new fenders didnt had the side markers holes on them, so I left it like thet. Im planning to put them when i have some time.
During body work

Tried some wheels meanwhile but offset wasnt right.

It was about to go out...
Some samco hoses fitted, and NGK blue leads installed menawhile.
(pic beside my now former EK4)

First part finished, new mugen lip and paint. (no side markers - damn!!!),and front mudflaps fitted....

Then got some raybrig fogs...

Then my new wheels came (only set of these in my country)
MF10`s, 16x7 and +50 offset

Went to a little motor upgrade...
Spoon cams installed and BC cam gears, also new ring where fitted (little oil consumption before), valve guides changed and some little things..

Then changed the exhaust, spoon N1 i found. I gave it a little clean anv voila!!

Then, new calipers and other bitsnarrived: Spoon twinblock and endless CCX pads, spoon replica mirros, spoon radiator and oil caps, nology wires.
Installed those and the mugens, so here it is at his current stage
Now:

And one last paralel pic with my old EK.

Whats to come in the very near future (about to install):
- AEM EMS ecu
- Tune
- Subframe reinforcement of some kind (ASR or custom reinforcement if I cant find a OEM EK9 subframe)
- ARP lextended wheel studs
- Realign front bumber (never got to fix it right the day I installed the fogs)
In the Long run
- Nardi, Saprco or OMP deep dish 350 mm steering wheel
- EK9 pistons and rings to bring up compression ratio.
- EK9 oem rear seats.
- OEM EK9 a/c besel

I luv em both! Good job man!! One thing tho..I really don't like that steering wheel
But it's your car. I just wish I had some money to completely change up my car. What are your future plans for it if ya have any??

Thanks for the compliments guys.
I also loved my EK4, i had it for 5 years, and found this.
I tried to keep both but had to sell the blue EK (was VSM originally) but after nearly a year had to sell it. Wifey, budget and no room to keep both toys made it impossible.
Luckily a friend bought it so i keep track of it.

At the bottom of the first post are the plans i have...
That takes massive ***** to convert a RHD to a gay LHD. But I really like your car looks like you did a very legit job. But if you wanted to make a CTR replica I would have kept it RHD. Thats just me, I understand it's illegal where you live but I would have made that sacrifice and just picked up a daily beater.
if im not mistaken, all the ek9 parts went onto the ek4 chassis? correct me if im wrong...but if you did convert the ek9 to LHD you got some ***** haha i dont thinki could get myself to hacc up a CTR
