Another UPDATE!!!!!!! 464 hp 312 tq @17 psi we just ran 11.31@120
Here we have Dimitri's 06 Turbo Civic Si. This car has a Jotech custom manifold and Gato Performance I/C piping kit. It made 310whp at 8psi tuned by CMB Tuning using an AEM FIC. Dimitri just bought this week an Hondata FlashPro, map sensor and Fuel Injector Clinic 1000cc injectors,he finally came in to throw on his new goodies on the car. After we finish installing the products CMB tuning came into play and worked on the car getting the final numbers of 380whp and 270tq at just 11psi on pump gas. Soon we will have more goodies on the car looking for more power!

^x2.
i just hope he doesnt shoot a piston through his hood.
or blow a piece of block through the firewall.
if i was boosted, i wouldnt go over 12 psi on stock internals.
the compression ratio is high enough on our motors.

This isn't an AJP turbo. It looks completely different to me. At 17 psi with my setup I would be well over 500hp.
I was told to look less at psi but rather hp and torque. MY tuner put it like this, If I get 450 from 6 psi it's just as bad as 15psi at 450hp. The torque the motor makes is what puts the force against the motor. Horsepower is just the torque spread over a given rpm range. I think the formula is hp= (torque X RPM) divided by 5252
462hp on the stock internals is ok with proper tuning but I was told by AJP to stay below 420whp because of the oil balance shafts or something. They get some parts from the K20A2 but I'm not sure what. Those balance shafts are the weak link and not the internals according to AJP the pistons and rods can withstand 500whp but they said you maybe flirting with disaster but they have done it.
Hey cave man74 are you sure that wasn't a b series motor? I doubt it because at 32 psi I would be making a 1000 whp.
OP probably has a fairly big turbo like me to make those numbers so 32 psi is out of the question.
I pump 18 psi on my WRX and it doesn't make anywhere near the power my SI does at 8 psi. Show me the link to the video

I love that Viper vs hatch video. Two sick worked cars doing a pretty damn even pull. And the domestic guy doesn't spout off like many would...he gives the hatch respect.
