2000 itr not starting
i know my user name is gs-r_swap and this space is for itr, but i just did a swap from a '98 b18c1 to '00 b18c5 on my '99 si, well the thing is that the car wont start. it use to have a remote start on but i took it off since the controller broke. im thinking that since they put the remote start onthe car they had to by-pass it somehow because when i use to start the car with the key i didnt have to use the clutch. The gsr heads i had on need an overhaul and since i came across these type r heads i decided to just swap heads instead of the expensive overhaul.what can i do or chec to see if i can get this car back on the road?any help or suggestions?
well since you dont have an itr. many of the itr people won't reply to this. but what ecu did you use? if you are using the 2000 itr ecu, it has the immobilizer in it. hope that helps. also, as in won't start meaning the starter won't turn or it won't run at all?
im running a p2t ecu, which is the one that comes in the 99 si, i have to put the p73 or 75, the harness has been rigged by previos owner to use that ecu but havent had the money to get it, anyways, the starter turns but the engine wont come on, i was thinking something with the fuel delivery but everything checks out good

Also, double check you didn't swap the TPS plug with the Map Sensor plug. That's a pretty common mixup that won't allow your car to start.
all of that is good, all grounds are connected
the tps and map sensor came with the intake manifold that was put in, see before i took it in to get the swap done it was doing that already, i had to push start it to get to the shop where the swap was performed
the guy told me that he checked into that problem and seemed like the switch on the clutch pedal wasnt gounded but then again it wasbut as soon as i got home i turned it off 3 hours later went to start it and nothing
WTF man, this sh*& is driving me nuts....lol
