EF 8 or EF 9?
If you are in the US then it is going to be neither LMFAO...
Look at your VIN tag and it will have some numbers and letters. Towards the beginning you should see the letter "E" then the letter then number following will make out what your chassis code type is.

... come on now man. Look around a little. I know you are a newb and all... That is actually a JDM front bumper. Modification is required to put it on. IF you do it right you have to chop off your front core support and weld the new one in.

Most people just state that they own a 1991 CRX Si or something of the sort. Saying you own an ED2 isn't too specific and leaves the mind to wander.

or just buy the whole set and pieces....wait...he said he has a EF8, or EF9, or whatever thats called..forgot..thought it might have been a rex!!
i might b wrong but i think what this guy was asking is which parts would fit on his car those from an ef8 or an ef9 other thing to point out is that u r gonna have to do a lot of fabrication or modifications to ur ride for example u cannot just intall the jdm bumper without also getting the headlights and the hood to go alone with it

What a lot of pitter patter in this thread
If you have a civic hatch and are looking for the front end from a jdm spec model, the EF9 is the model for parts you are after.
Look to get....
- front bumper with signals
- hood
- headlights
- t bar, not needed but will be easier if you have one

This conversion is a lot easier than the EF2 (sedan)
You don't need to change the radiator support for the EF9.
Everything bolts right up.
You will also need the filler that goes between the lights ans bumper (missing from the list in the post above)
The only thing you have to do is a little mod on driver's side bumper support.
There's a "hook" that hangs the bumper on to the frame and it does not fit.
You have to bend it out of the way or cut it off.
fenders swap out easy, but if you can get a conversion kit without them then you can save some money.
The only difference is the side marker hole - just get a template and side markers and cut your USDM fenders.
The lights bolt up and you will just need to re-wire them.
To keep your USDM radiator support you just have to relocate the latch on the hood back a little to get it to line up with the latch mechanism on the radiator support..

there should seriously be a rule against ragging on people and blatantly insulting someone just because they dont have a specialized skill set.
